How can you say racism isn't built into the fabric of society when you praise slaveowners in your history books, put men who wrote dissertations contesting the idea that black people were human on your money, celebrate "independence days" during which so much of the population was enslaved/being systematically exterminated, and have holidays commemorating violent imperialists? Goes back to thinking evil "greater good."
